I joined Sano physiotherapy in November 2020 initially as a junior physiotherapist, and recently progressed into my current role as a Senior Physiotherapist at the Northeast clinics. My educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy and master’s degree in public health from Northumbria university, coupled with over 11years practice as a MSK Physiotherapist. Outside of work I supports Newcastle United and continually try to learn the Geordie accent.
Olayemi is brilliant. He’s friendly, helpful, very gentle and puts you at ease. Brilliant treatment which has seen me progress each week. 10/10!

I have been working as a Physiotherapist in Sano physiotherapy for more than a year. I completed my bachelorette in Physical Therapy from The University of Faisalabad Pakistan and my Masters in Advancing Physical Therapy Practice from Coventry University England. I have always been a dedicated and hardworking person who has a pleasure of serving people on different levels. Musculoskeletal Physical Therapy is my forte and I have always fascinated working in specialised MSK Domains. As a humanitarian and a social worker, I have always enjoyed helping people in any way possible. Absolutely fantastic service, I’ve been received treatment at Gateshead from Hamza and can’t fault the service following the RTC I was in I struggled with daily duties and now after many session I am back to prior accident fitness thanks for the great service received.

After graduating my Bachelor’s with a distinction from Pakistan, I then completed an internship at one of the most renowned cardiology hospitals of the country, I then travelled to the UK to complete my Master’s degree from Coventry. Following on from that, I was keen to help people who had musculoskeletal problems. I have always believed in the magic of therapeutic hands, the positive and effective results of which I see every day at Sano. Outside of work, I love being a mother to my two wonderful kids and read books whenever I can.
I would highly recommend physio Ambreen at Gateshead Clinic. She is kind, caring and professional. She explained everything to me and what was going on and the treatment I received was outstanding. I will miss seeing her every week and the chats we had.

I am an ambitious, dedicated, and compassionate MSK physiotherapist with a great passion for supporting people of all ages. I have previous experience in handling various types of patients diagnosed with different conditions. I did my bachelor’s in physiotherapy from India and an MSC in Human Anatomy from the United Kingdom. I am certified in dry needling and cupping therapy. Aside from my passion for physiotherapy, I love to travel and explore the new challenges.
I recently had a car accident and was experiencing some physical pain in my neck and back. Luckily, I was referred to a physiotherapist who provided outstanding care and treatment. Our Gateshead Physiotherapy Clinic is situated inside Regus – Gateshead, Maingate Team Valley. The treatment room is on the first floor. The building is locked and the patients are required to wait outside until the physiotherapist let them in.
Parking:
Parking is free in areas WITHOUT yellow lines. In areas with yellow lines, parking is free for only 30 minutes.
Please Note:
There is currently construction work outside the main entrance. Clients please use the rear entrance of the building.
Before you start treatment with us, it is important you book in for an initial assessment so we can assess your needs, and discuss a treatment plan.
For all new patients registered with Sano Physiotherapy, our team conduct an initial assessment, where they will screen your condition or injury, to gain an understanding of the lack of movement or pain in the problem area. By understanding the reason behind the pain or problem you’re having, they will be able to discuss with you the treatment techniques to be completed. In most cases, your treatment will begin throughout your first session with us. If you would like to find out more, we have gone into further detail about what will happen in your first physiotherapy session with Sano Physiotherapy. We assist a wide range of patients including self-referring patients, and med-legal clients.
