Testimonial

'Elliott Stead was my physio for approximately 4-5 months. From the very first session he was brilliant! He made me feel comfortable and although very professional had a great sense of humour, which for me, helped massively, especially at a time when I was feeling a little negative. He was also great at explaining everything to me, such as, why certain exercises will help and what would be best for me.He was honest with me about my recovery and likelihood to return to sports fully, which also helped a lot! Would highly recommend.'

'Elliott has been helping me to thaw a frozen shoulder. After suffering with very limited range of movement for several months, I started to see a big improvement after doing the exercises Elliott set me. He is a friendly and caring physio who put me at ease - I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing a physio.'

'Had a really great experience here. Was having a lot of pain from sciatica and after two sessions with Elliott I’m back to normal. He was really friendly and approachable and gave me a good range of exercises which helped massively!'

Physio York | Sano Physiotherapy

Sano Physiotherapy York recently relocated to a newly renovated shop-fronted site in Holgate, a 10-minute walk from the city centre.

Our York physio clinic is situated at a major junction of the A59, Holgate Road with 3 treatment rooms, airy reception and waiting area and free 1-hour parking to the side (Falconer Street).

Spacious and fully equipped to meet the needs of your rehabilitation, whether muscular or skeletal. The York Physiotherapy Clinic for Sano Physiotherapy is staffed by a highly knowledgeable team who have gained vast amounts of experience from working in the NHS and private sector in the UK and mainland Europe. Our York physiotherapists are very capable of diagnosing and applying specific treatment to all musculoskeletal injuries.

You will receive ‘hands on’ treatment from our team in our York physio clinic, and it will involve several stages. In your first treatment, an initial assessment of your condition or injury will be completed, to gain an understanding of the lack of movement or pain in the problem area. From here they will know the reason behind the pain or problem you’re having, and then discuss with you the treatment techniques that will be applied.

In most cases, treatment will begin throughout your first treatment session. If you would like to read more about what will happen in your first physiotherapy session with Sano Physiotherapy, we discuss that here https://www.sanophysiotherapy.com/news/first-physiotherapy-session/.

We assist a wide range of patients including self-referring patients and med-legal clients. If you would like to find out more about what our patients say about their experiences with Sano Physiotherapy, visit our YouTube Channel or our Facebook page.

Parking:

There is free on-street parking on Falconer Street next to the clinic in 1 hour, no return, bays. Alternatively, you can park free of charge in The Fox pub car park over the road from the clinic for the duration of your appointment.

The clinic has level access at the rear via Falconer Street and there are two parking bays at the rear of the clinic for patients who are unable to navigate the shallow steps at the front entrance. Please be aware that access to the rear parking spaces is via a narrow street off immediately left as you turn into Falconer Street.

If you foresee any issues with access or parking, please call the clinic prior to your visit on 01904 208880 and our reception staff will be happy to assist.
