Elliott has a keen interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and since graduating has worked for NHS based clinics with a focus on objectivity and improving using functional goals.

He joined Sano in early 2015 and is now a highly experienced Senior Physiotherapist.

Outside work he enjoys cycling, basketball and football and also admits to being a little bit of a television geek!

Had a really great experience here. Was having a lot of pain from sciatica and after two sessions with Elliot I’m back to normal. He was really friendly and approachable and gave me a good range of exercises which really helped

Close Lucinda Burrough Role: Physiotherapist Qualification: BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy, 2007

Lucinda studied Biology at Newcastle University before qualifying in Physiotherapy at the University of Northumbria in 2007. Since then she has gained a wealth of experience working in the NHS in South Tyneside and Harrogate treating patients with a variety of conditions from sports injuries to postoperative orthopaedic conditions.

She has worked for several years at Sano Physiotherapy Ltd and our North East and Yorkshire clinics as one of our most senior clinicians.

She has attended advanced courses in Pilates and Acupuncture to further aid accurate and appropriate diagnosis and treatment of complex musculoskeletal conditions and she has a particular interest in acupuncture and pain management.

Out of work she enjoys running and going to the gym.

Please pass on my thanks to Lucinda and John who were my physiotherapists. They did a marvelous job and made me feel so much better. Thank you!

Sano Physiotherapy York recently relocated to newly rennovated shop-fronted site in Holgate, a 10-minute walk from the city centre.

Our physio clinic is situated at a major junction of the A59, Holgate Road with 3 treatment rooms, an airy reception and waiting area and free 1 hour parking to the side (Falconer Street).

Spacious and fully equipped to meet the needs of your rehabilitation, whether muscular or skeletal. The York Physiotherapy Clinic for Sano Physiotherapy is staffed by a highly knowledgeable team who have gained vast amounts of experience from working in the NHS and private sector in the UK and mainland Europe. Our York physiotherapists are very capable of diagnosing and applying specific treatment to all musculoskeletal injuries.

You will receive ‘hands on’ treatment from our team in our York physio clinic, and it will involve several stages. In your first treatment, an initial assessment of your condition or injury will be completed, to gain an understanding of the lack of movement or pain in the problem area. From here they will know the reason behind the pain or problem your having, and then discuss with you the treatment techniques that will be applied. In most cases, treatment will begin throughout your first treatment session. If you would like to read more about what will happen in your first physiotherapy session with Sano Physiotherapy, we discuss that here

We assist a wide range of patients including self-referring patients, and med-legal clients. If you would like to find out more about what our patients say about their experiences with Sano Physiotherapy, visit our YouTube Channel or our Facebook page.

This location has free parking on Falconer Street in 1 hour, no return, bays.
