Meet the team

Close Matthew Taylor Role: Clinical lead physiotherapist Qualification: BSc (Hons), PGDip, Physiotherapy, MCSP, AACP, MLACP.

Matt qualified from the University of Leeds in 2004 having studied Sports Science and Physiology and then decided to further his studies, choosing Physiotherapy at the University of Huddersfield where he qualified in 2007 with a post-graduate degree. Since then he has worked at 2 different NHS Foundation Trusts, as a physiotherapist for Sheffield Wednesday Football Club, for Private Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinics and he now works for Sano Physiotherapy Ltd as our clinical lead and is based at our Pudsey clinic.

Matt has a wealth of experience working in football and cricket and has completed post-graduate courses in spinal manipulations and acupuncture (where he is a fully qualified practitioner and member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists). He has a particular interest in assessing and treating running related injuries and headaches.

He is also a member of the Medico-Legal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists where he is involved in report writing around medical negligence and litigation cases involving other physiotherapists.

Outside work Matt is a keen cricketer where he has played in the Bradford League for several seasons and is also a keen runner.

As a runner I have had several injuries over the past few years which have been expertly dealt with by Matt on all occasions. His ability to pinpoint the problem quickly, with a high level of expertise & professionalism and subsequently provide a suitable rehab programme to sort the issue effectively, is a credit to himself & Sano. In 2014 I ran my first marathon, just 18wks after knee surgery, which wouldn't have been possible without the team at Sano.

Close Darren Ward Role: Senior Physiotherapist Qualification:

Darren Ward, simply one of the best in the business, and I have had enough sports related injuries to last two life times so I do not say that without experience. Sano are a very professional team who are all very highly capable in their field. Proven results and valuable advice time and time again.

Have been going for 6 weeks now after a car accident. Really have felt the benefit from Darren - very pleased with my results

I had a car accident back in March, I've been seeing Darren at Bradford. I told him where the pain was,he listened to everything I told him, he went through everything with me and explained the whats and why's, he was very thorough and his professionalism was second to none. I cant thank him enough, 9 appointments later and the exercises he gave me to do at home and I'm totally pain free.

Currently having physio with Darren at Pudsey, after been involved in a car accident that has caused me to have a lot of pain in my back. He really is great, he listens to what I'm telling him and after telling me what is causing it he explains it so i understand more. Although each session is painful I am a true believer in no pain no gain and after each session I can notice a difference. I have 100% faith in him to sort my back out so thank you
