Hamza Muhammad

Role: Physiotherapist

Qualification: BSc Physiotherapy and MSc Advanced Physical Therapy Practice

I have been working as a Physiotherapist in Sano physiotherapy for more than a year. I completed my bachelorette in Physical Therapy from The University of Faisalabad Pakistan and my Masters in Advancing Physical Therapy Practice from Coventry University England. I have always been a dedicated and hardworking person who has a pleasure of serving people on different levels. Musculoskeletal Physical Therapy is my forte and I have always fascinated working in specialised MSK Domains. I have always had a very keen interest in treating and getting people back into their normal lifestyles. As a humanitarian and a social worker, I have always enjoyed helping people in any way possible. I love to be a part of the Sano physiotherapy community, who has a vision of making people’s lives better.

Absolutely fantastic service, I’ve been received treatment at Gateshead from Hamza and can’t fault the service following the RTC I was in I struggled with daily duties and now after many session I am back to prior accident fitness thanks for the great service received.

I have an experience working in a multiple hospital’s, clinic’s, and football club’s as well as working for the World Olympics, Berlin. I have managed and treated many footballers, marathon runners and athletes to achieve their fitness to compete at the highest level. My passion is playing football and cricket, and loves to spend time in the gym and watching sports.

Amazing physio, Nikhil has helped me get back on my feet after a car accident. He was very knowledgeable, courteous and professional. He gave me lots of advice to continue with my recovery and more!

Our Sunderland Physiotherapy Clinic (with disabled access) is based inside the Regus House office development, at number 4 Admiral Way. We have a treatment room which features the latest up to date equipment and rehabilitation facilities. When attending your appointment just advise reception that you’ve arrived to see the Physio and they will show you to our clinic. 

Parking is free for up to 30 minutes, if you need longer please ask at reception for a discount code. There is also full disabled access throughout and disabled parking bays.

Initial assessment with an expert Chartered Physiotherapist to assess muscular or skeletal pain.

Physiotherapy Treatment

See one of our expert Chartered Physiotherapists for clinical treatment. Please do not book a treatment session unless you have attended an assessment.

Sports Massage

Non-clinical deep massage to relieve tension and promote recovery.

1-2-1 Pilates

Energising flexibility and stretching under the close supervision of a Chartered Physiotherapist.

What to expect.

The treatment you will receive from the physiotherapists in our Sunderland Physiotherapy Clinic will be ‘hands on’ and involve several sessions.

For all new patients registered with Sano Physiotherapy, our team conduct an initial assessment, where they will screen your condition or injury, to gain an understanding of the lack of movement or pain in the problem area. By understanding the reason behind the pain or problem you’re having, they will be able to discuss with you the treatment techniques to be completed. In most cases, your treatment will begin throughout your first session with us. If you would like to find out more, we have gone into further detail about what will happen in your first physiotherapy session with Sano Physiotherapy. We assist a wide range of patients including self-referring patients, and med-legal clients.
