Ambreen Junaid

Role: Physiotherapist

Qualification: BSc Physiotherapy and MSc

After graduating my Bachelor’s with a distinction from Pakistan, I then completed an internship at one of the most renowned cardiology hospitals of the country, I then travelled to the UK to complete my Master’s degree from Coventry. Following on from that, I was keen to help people who had musculoskeletal problems. I have always believed in the magic of therapeutic hands, the positive and effective results of which I see every day at Sano. Outside of work, I love being a mother to my two wonderful kids and read books whenever I can.

I would highly recommend physio Ambreen at Gateshead Clinic. She is kind, caring and professional. She explained everything to me and what was going on and the treatment I received was outstanding. I will miss seeing her every week and the chats we had.

Lewis Bestford

Role: Physiotherapist

Qualification: BSc Physiotherapy

After serving in the British Army, I transitioned into a career in Personal Training, where I developed a strong passion for physical health and rehabilitation. I went on onto completing my degree at Northumbria University, and began my career in the NHS, gaining invaluable experience, and supporting patients with a wide range of conditions. Seeking to specialize further, I moved into musculoskeletal practice with Sano Physiotherapy, where I now apply my diverse background to deliver focused, evidence-based treatment and help clients achieve their recovery

As this was my first experience of a physio assessment I had no idea what to expect, but was made to feel really comfortable and came away feeling informed and confident on next steps. Lovely clinic with great staff. Highly recommended!

Rishu Grewal

Role: Physiotherapist

Qualification: BA Physiotherapy and Msc Human Anatomy

I am an ambitious, dedicated, and compassionate MSK physiotherapist with a great passion for supporting people of all ages. I have previous experience in handling various types of patients diagnosed with different conditions. I did my bachelor’s in physiotherapy from India and an MSC in Human Anatomy from the United Kingdom. I am certified in dry needling and cupping therapy. Aside from my passion for physiotherapy, I love to travel and explore the new challenges.

I recently had a car accident and was experiencing some physical pain in my neck and back. Luckily, I was referred to a physiotherapist who provided outstanding care and treatment. Not only did she take the time to listen to my concerns and thoroughly assess my symptoms, but she also created a personalized treatment plan that was tailored specifically to my needs.

Sangita Sinha

Role: Physiotherapist

Qualification: BSc Physiotherapy and MSc Physiotherapy

I am an MSK Physiotherapist with over 10 years of experience. I completed my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Physiotherapy (MSK/Ortho) in India and further advanced my expertise through a Fellowship Programme in MSK Physiotherapy in the UK. I am certified in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (UK)  and am a Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner (USA).
I have extensive experience working across inpatient, outpatient, and primary care settings, supporting clients in managing acute and chronic pain, recovering from injury, and returning to daily activities. My clinical experience includes post-surgical rehabilitation, postural issues, work-related conditions, sports injuries and post-trauma care, as well as a wide range of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions across all age groups. I use a hands-on approach alongside tailored rehabilitation and take an empathetic, caring, evidence-based, and holistic approach to care, supporting each client’s individual goals and long-term wellbeing. Outside of work, I enjoy baking and gardening.

I had been struggling with a hip injury for a number of months but I’m happy to say that after a few sessions and a variety of different treatments to injury seems to have gone away and I have a plan of action to prevent the injury from reoccurring.
