We are very proud to announce that Sano Physiotherapy Ltd’s joint venture with the Occupational Health team at Bakkavor Pizza in Holbeach has won the ‘Protect’ category as part of Bakkavor’s internal annual ‘Proud to Be’ Awards!
Bakkavor, the UK’s leading supplier of fresh prepared food, holds an annual event to celebrate the exceptional work of its people throughout the year. The 2021 ‘Protect’ award recognised Sano’s achievements in reducing employee musculoskeletal absence and improving employee wellness across Bakkavor’s Pizza & Bread business during the Covid-19 pandemic.
We are incredibly proud of everyone involved in this service and very grateful to have received recognition for this work by Bakkavor. Bakkavor’s Occupational Health team at Holbeach have been a pleasure to work with.
Sano’s physiotherapists delivered outstanding results for Bakkavor, including the following headlines:
- A reduction in MSK related sickness absence at the Holbeach site of 72%.
- A safe return to work for absent employees was facilitated in just 1.7 treatment sessions.
- 682 MSK-related sick days were prevented throughout the pandemic at the Holbeach site.
With direct access to Sano’s bespoke practice management system, Bakkavor’s Occupational Health team can book employees directly into the on-site clinic and review case files and treatment progress immediately. During the initial project period we found our clinic was consistently full and that both managers and employees all praised the services as being a great asset.
