I have completed my Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy(India) and Msc Sports and Exercise Medicine(UK). I am a Certified Kinesio-Tapping, Dry needling Practitioner. I have an experience working in a multiple hospital’s, clinic’s, and football club’s as well as working for the World Olympics, Berlin. I have managed and treated many footballers, marathon runners and athletes to achieve their fitness to compete at the highest level. My passion is playing football and cricket, and loves to spend time in the gym and watching sports.
Amazing physio, Nikhil has helped me get back on my feet after a car accident. He was very knowledgeable, courteous and professional. He gave me lots of advice to continue with my recovery and more!

I am a committed, caring and friendly physiotherapist with a great passion for helping people of all ages. I have completed a Bachelor’s in physiotherapy from India and Master’s in Orthopaedic Rehabilitation from Dundee University, Scotland. I have previous experience in private clinic and in a multi-speciality hospital where I was supporting a variety of patients ranges from children suffering from genetic disorders, to adults and the elderly affected by musculoskeletal problems. I specialise in hands-on techniques such as Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), manual therapy techniques, facial therapy etc. I have been working at Sano for nearly one year. Aside from being passionate about physiotherapy, I am a competitive volleyball player (3 times played for national volleyball team). I love to spend time with my family and with old people (I worked one year in a care home in Scotland) and for many years I have volunteered for several different organizations to support the people in different ways.
Madhu was fantastic in the physiotherapy sessions. Managed to make the pain disappear. Would highly recommend!

I have always had an interest in MSK and Sports rehabilitation, and my recent MSc in Sports Physiotherapy at Teesside University provided me the opportunity to work with a professional football club which adds to the value and level of experience I contribute to Sano. I’m very dedicated and motivated to constantly improve myself and provide the best. My interests include watching football, playing games, reading novels, staying fit, and music.

Our Darlington clinic is located just a 15 minute walk from Darlington Train Station, inside Bannatyne Health Club and Spa. The clinic is on first floor, accessible via lift and stairs, and an accessible restroom is on ground floor.

Before you start treatment with us, it is important you book in for an initial assessment so we can assess your needs, and discuss a treatment plan.
For all new patients registered with Sano Physiotherapy, our team conduct an initial assessment, where they will screen your condition or injury, to gain an understanding of the lack of movement or pain in the problem area. By understanding the reason behind the pain or problem you’re having, they will be able to discuss with you the treatment techniques to be completed. In most cases, your treatment will begin throughout your first session with us. If you would like to find out more, we have gone into further detail about what will happen in your first physiotherapy session with Sano Physiotherapy. We assist a wide range of patients including self-referring patients, and med-legal clients.
