Close Kathryn Taylor Role: Physiotherapist Qualification: BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy, 2004


Kathryn qualified as a Physiotherapist at the University of Teesside in 2004.

Since then she has worked in the NHS,  specialising in musculoskeletal Physiotherapy since 2006. With nearly 10 years experience specialising in this field, she has experienced working in Rheumatology, orthopaedics and a multidisciplinary  pain clinic.

Alongside her NHS role Kathryn has worked for a local rugby team and she also has 7 years experience of working in private practice. In 2014 Kathryn furthered her studies by completing a Post Graduate Certificate in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Practice at the University of Bradford.

She has recently joined Sano Physiotherapy Lts and works at our York clinic.

In her spare time Kathryn enjoys keeping fit by playing netball, swimming  and boxing training as well as walking her dog!

Close Private: Josh Wheatley Role: Physiotherapist Qualification: MSc Physiotherapy, Leeds Metropolitan University


Josh studied Physiotherapy at Leeds Metropolitan University where he gained a Masters in physiotherapy and prior to that he completed a degree in Sports Science. Since qualifying, Josh worked for a brief spell in Super League for Castleford Tigers with all age groups from first team down to scholarship players until he joined the team at Sano Physiotherapy Ltd full time in April 2014 and currently works in the Pudsey, Castleford and East Leeds clinics.

As expected from his studies in Sports Science and work with Castleford Tigers, Josh’s main interests are sport related injuries and musculoskeletal disorders.

Away from physiotherapy, Josh enjoys going to the gym and is also a keen cricketer where he plays in the Bradford league.


Josh has gone above and beyond his professional duties whilst I received treatment at Sano physiotherapy. His knowledge and skills are unquestionable, Immediately putting myself at ease through what is an already testing time.

The York Clinic is based inside Energise Leisure Centre, which is situated next to York High School. From the A64, take the Copmanthorpe (A1237) exit. Follow the A1237 north, which is signposted Thirsk, Harrogate, York (North), then follow the brown leisure centre / sports centre signs down Askham Lane andCornlands Road to Energise.

The facilities at Energise are exceptional and if required we have access to the gym facilities, rehabilitation studios and outdoor astro-turf pitches.

On entering Energise, please advise the reception staff that you have a physiotherapy appointment and they will direct you to our waiting area. There are 210 free car parking spaces within the grounds to Energise and 15 disabled bays. There is also full disabled access to our treatment rooms within Energise.
