I am a passionate physiotherapist who believes in getting my patients better for good and not just in the short term, and my patient feedback prove this! I believe I embody the principle of getting you from pain to performance, in all cases. Dominic Wheatley

Role: Senior Physiotherapist

Qualification: BSc Physiotherapy

Known as Dom, I proudly serve as one of the senior physiotherapists at Sano Physiotherapy. With a dedicated tenure of three years at Sano, my professional journey has taken me across clinics in Nottingham, Derby, and Leicester. As a Musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapist, I specialise in assessing and treating a diverse range of patients, spanning occupational health and medical-legal settings while building a vibrant private caseload. In my role as a senior physiotherapist, I find immense fulfilment in imparting knowledge, guiding, and leading junior physiotherapists through to themselves becoming senior physiotherapists.

Beyond my contributions to Sano Physiotherapy, I proudly hold the position of lead physiotherapist for Kimberley Miners Welfare Football Club and Hucknall Cricket Club. Through these roles, I’ve encountered and successfully managed a range of acute and chronic injuries and conditions, honing my expertise in player rehabilitation. Away from the professional realm, I am a passionate cricketer, having won the Nottinghamshire Premier League title three times with Kimberley Institute Cricket Club, I continue to actively contribute to Hucknall Cricket Club as a current player.

After a Road Traffic accident, I was booked for physio with Dominic Wheatley. Dominic’s approach was excellent, he communicated effectively, listened to my needs whilst conducting the planned therapy. Dominic demonstrated a professional and friendly manner working with me to meet my planned goals. Excellent overall service.

Priya Masuria

Role: Senior Physiotherapist

Qualification: BA Physiotherapy and MA Physiotherapy for Advanced Practice

I am a dedicated physiotherapist with a passion for providing comprehensive care and improving patients’ lives. I obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy in India, where I developed a strong foundation. Driven by a desire to enhance my knowledge and skills, I decided to pursue a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy for Advanced Practice, specializing in the neuromuscular pathway at University of Nottingham. My patient base encompasses individuals covered by insurance, those recovering from workplace injuries, post-surgery rehabilitation, as well as private patients seeking personalized care.

By addressing the holistic aspects of pain, I aim to provide comprehensive care that goes beyond just treating the symptoms. When I’m not working, I finds solace in activities such as yoga, participating in half marathons for charity, volunteering for causes close to my heart, expressing my creativity through painting, and exploring different parts of the world through travel. I firmly believe in empowering my patients to regain their optimal health and well-being.

Priya Masuria is absolutely fantastic, she’s extremely knowledgeable in her field, and I highly recommend her. Priya explains everything she’s doing in detail and makes you feel extremely comfortable.

Andrew Nadar

Role: Physiotherapist

Qualification: BSc Physiotherapy

I’m proud to be part of the clinical team at Sano Physiotherapy, where I work across Birmingham and Nottingham as a Musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapist. My practice spans both NHS and private pathways, with a particular focus on complex cases involving trauma and rehabilitation for sporting and non-sporting populations. I’m passionate about providing personalised care, drawing on advanced manual therapy techniques, clinical reasoning, and evidence-led rehabilitation planning.
In addition to my role at Sano, I serve as an academy physiotherapist at Birmingham City FC and Shrewsbury Town FC, working with athletes from U9 through to U18. These roles have sharpened my expertise in acute injury management, adolescent development, and long-term return-to-play planning in high-performance football environments. I’ve also previously led physiotherapy services at a Public Hospital Physiotherapy Department in India, where I managed a varied caseload across orthopaedics, neurology, and paediatrics.
Away from the clinic, I’m a lifelong football and hockey enthusiast and continue to stay involved in sport both professionally and personally. I enjoy studying match footage to analyse injuries in real-time, combining my clinical interests with a genuine love for the game. I’m also a devoted dog lover.

Employ good people and you’ll get good results! This is clearly what Sano have done. Friendly service and excellent physio.
